Life
I took Business Education at Mervo and had Miss Bader for filing and bookkeeping. Does anybody remember Miss Bader? Oh how I annoyed that poor woman. I regret that and wish I could apologize but I'm sure it is too late now...maybe she's listening out there somewhere.
Born in Dillon, S.C. to Fred and Elise Watts but moved with my mother to Baltimore, Maryland in 1959. Lived in Baltimore until the age of 23 when I returned to the south (Savannah, Ga.) and went to work for Gulfstream Aerospace (Grumman American at the time) where I met my husband Danny Langford. Anyway, I've been married to the same guy for 32 years and we have one 23 year old daughter. He works in aviation and so we decided to see the world bef...Expand for more
ore we got tied down with a family.
We live in LA County California now and have for the last 14 years. We love it. We just stay off the freeways at night and keep the doors locked. Only kidding. We live in a safe community and there is little to no crime.
I have posted a photo album but don't have much in it yet. I've got a digital one of myself now, if you can stand it, and will put in the album.
I'd love to hear from anyway who can remember those days in the 60's at Mervo and those slices of sheet cakes they used to sell out front by the office that were made by the kids in the baking classes or from any of my long lost relatives. Have been able to reconnect with a lot of old friends through Classmates.
